Strategy and Planning
We start with your vision, values and aspirations, exploring your legacy and the world you envision. We then assist in the creation of a personalized giving plan, identifying suitable grantees and evaluating current giving or legacy plans. Our services extend to individuals, couples, and families, fostering intergenerational dialogue through family meetings and facilitating alignment of values with giving and investment strategies. We offer support in deciding on optimal giving vehicles and liaise with financial and estate planning advisors to ensure seamless integration. We are dedicated to empowering our clients in crafting purposeful strategies and plans to maximize their philanthropic impact.
Research & Evaluation
We identify qualified organizations by assessing their financial health, leadership, board effectiveness, strategic alignment, and impact potential. We also analyze the organizational landscape within broader social movements, enabling evidence-based funding decisions that drive social change and address systemic gaps. Through our due diligence, we identify grantees and partners aligned with our clients' philanthropic goals and values.
Engagement
We encourage our clients, if they so desire, to become what we call a “donor partner,” identifying ways they can engage with the issues, organizations and movements they care about, beyond their financial gifts. This might be through board leadership, promotion of the organizations and issues you care about, convening with a group of organizations or by attending site visits.
Grantee Capacity Building
Could some of your grantees benefit from capacity building? We can engage them to increase their organizational capacity, increase their financial stability and strengthen their ability to achieve their mission. We offer leadership coaching, board development and training, development planning, financial management and planning, strategy updates, and impact evaluation.
On-call and Customized Support
We offer a range of personalized services, including planning retreats, customized briefings, and coaching sessions available via phone, in-person meetings, or video conference.
Many of our clients choose our on-call coaching package, which provides a flexible, customized way to work with us. We work with a limited number of clients at any one time to ensure personalized attention for each individual or family.
